Regrets about a …

Sometimes you feel sad about stupid things. Yesterday I had such a day ( today a little less but still). Almost a year ago I ordered a nice and shiny thing. At that moment the people I ordered it told me it would be delivered the first week of August. In may they told me it would be the beginning of 2009. So i talked with my girl who also needed a new one and decided she would order an other one (different kind) and I would take that one she would wait till 2009. I was happy with the one she ordered till yesterday came along.
I could pickup the one I ordered so I went their and at the moment I saw it I knew why I chose this one at the beginning.From the first moment I had seen one I was sure I would getting one of those. After the pickup we (me and the thing) went to the place my girl is working at to deliver it. The first thing she said was it is lovely and you regret that we made the swap. Yes I was. So I gave it to her and went back to my own work to start working again. But I was feeling sad. I have been sad before but not the way I was feeling yesterday. The thing i will remember is that the next time I will stay at my first choice. ( And when it is possible I will order the same one again and not swap it.

Sad about a car how stupid does that sound!

House Countdown has begon

Today we got a letter from the building company that is building our house. The letter told us that our house will be ready in week 3 of 2009. A week later we will receive the keys. After almost 2 years of construction and endless waiting. I will be moving in February 2009 if everything goes well. Some pictures of the new house are located here.
We now can start planning stuff like the actual move and such. We still need to arrange somethings like a painter / a kitchen and the floor. At this moment I’m quite exited about the whole thing.

Hmmm New Toy

Because my other laptop is usage and heavy to take it with me when I’m on the move I decided to buy a Macbook air. I thought it would be hard to get used to the 13.3" screen instead of the 17" my MBP has. But no way i got used to it in some minutes. The screen of the MB air is much brighter then the one I have in the MBP. So I’m very happy with it

Holiday Time

Today we are leaving for a nice holiday to Spain. At this moment we are waiting at Schiphol Airport.
So i decided to get a nice espresso @ Starbucks and upload the first pictures to my gallery. My daughter
and girlfriend are doing "some" taxfree shopping at this moment( we will be broke again when they get back).

I made some pictures already so i decided to put one here. My little girl walking with her suitecase @ schiphol 2:35(AM)

Going to Spain

In 2 day’s I’m leaving with my daughter and girlfriend towards Spain for a nice
holiday. I really need a small break, the internal battery need a charge. So no
posts for a few day’s. I have internet but I’m going to try not to use it.

Time to post again, i have been quiet for a long time. Some things changed in my life. The relationship i had for almost 7 years crashed. We have decided to go each our own way in the summer of 2006. I can tell you from the bottom of my hart if was the most special relationship i have had. We got a beatiful daughter who did not liked they idea of her mom and dad not living together anymore. I can tell you that hurts more then anything in the world.
I’m glad she it is going well with all three of us. We are trying to move on with our lives and make the life of our daughter as easy as possible, but when you look at your child you can see how hard it is for her. In my opinion she does not understand why this happend. It is hard to see you daughter trying to understand all of it.
The best thing for her is that mom and dad don’t fight but are close friends and help each other and have fun together. I can tell one thing my exgirlfriend will allways be in my hart and she will be my best friend.
Enough for now somethings will be told on an other moment or not :>

Hmmpf het is weer kerst, weer tijd om eens een keer iets op mijn blog te posten. Er is nogal wat gebeurd de laatste tijd, daar zal ik op een later moment een
keer overschrijven. Kinderen weten hoe ze hun ouders blij kunnen maken. Ik kreeg een hele mooie ster voor in de kerstboom met een mooi gedichtje van mijn dochter.
Hoe blij kan je een ouder maken met zoiets kleins en bijzonders.

I just discovered that i still have a weblog. So i decided to make some postings again. I have been very busy with work and other "Real Life" stuff.
So posting to this weblog-thingie is on a low priority. I have updated the blog software to a new wordpress version. The only thing i still have to fix is some anti-spam plugin.
If any has a suggestion please let me know.

Wat is het naar om ziek te zijn, nu weet ik waarom ik al jaren niet meer ziek geweest ben . Een keer in de 5 jaar ziek zijn is meer als genoeg dacht ik zo. Soms word je op een morgen wakker en kom je tot de ontdekking dat je helemaal vol zit met slijm en sn*t. Je denkt ach we gaan maar werken. Nou dat heb ik geweten afgelopen woensdag, het was dat ik nog wist waar ik was maar dat was dan ook alles. Dus donderdag en Vrijdag maar eens thuis gebleven, voor het eerst in de 4.5 jaar dat ik hier werk dat ik 2 dagen thuis blijf om dat ik mijzelf niet goedvoelde. It is a dammmiracle. Ondertussen is het weer Maandag en zit ik lekker rustig op kantoor nog wat na te hoesten geen collega’s om me heen nog. TIP van de dag: World of Warcraft
